On Home, tap + next to "Your lists" and type what you need, like "milk, eggs, bread". Then tap Compare prices. Groccy works out sizes, checks Woolworths, Coles and ALDI, and shows the cheapest store for the whole list, plus your nearest one. Tap Shop here to choose it.

After you choose a store, every item shows a score out of 100 (green is good, red is not so good) and the store card shows your basket health. Tap a score to see healthier options at that store, with their price, and tap Swap to change it.

Tap the barcode button in search (or Scan a product in Health). Point at a barcode, or tap the shutter to read the front of the pack. If a product has no score yet, tap Snap the nutrition panel and Groccy scores it from the table on the back.

On Home, swipe the cards to Cook it for less (or Lists → From a recipe), paste a link or the ingredients, untick what you already have and tap Make list & compare.

Say "Hey Siri, add to Groccy". When Siri asks what to add, say the item, like "milk and eggs". They appear on your current list when you next open Groccy, and straight away on the widget. You'll also find "Add to list" in the Shortcuts app. If Siri doesn't recognise the phrase right after installing, open Groccy once and try again.

Touch and hold an empty part of your home screen, tap + (or Edit → Add Widget), search for Groccy and choose Groccy list or Groccy spend. For the lock screen: touch and hold it, tap Customise, then the widget area.

Go to Lists and tap Budget on the "This month" card. Groccy alerts you at 50%, 90% and 100%, and checks in three days before the month ends. Allow notifications when asked.

Touch and hold any item on a list and choose Watch price, or tap Watch price on a price drop. Groccy checks now and then and tells you when it drops by 5% or more.

Open the list, tap the share button and choose Share live with family. Send them the code. They tap the people icon on Home, enter the code, and you both see the same list. Ticks show up on both phones within a few seconds.

Tick everything off and Groccy asks what you spent, or lets you scan the receipt. The amount goes into This month and your budget. Got it wrong? Open the finished list and tap the amount on the green card to change it.

Touch and hold an item to rename it, watch its price or delete it (with Undo). Tap a list's name to rename it. The bin icon deletes the whole list.

Groccy only shows prices it has actually seen, so it never guesses. When you search for something new, Groccy fetches its price, so check back a little later. Scanning receipts also adds real prices for everyone.

Each price shows how old it is, like "price today" or "3 days ago". Specials change, so check the shelf price in store.

Your lists, budget and spending are stored on your phone. See the privacy policy. Deleting the app deletes them. To remove a shared list from our server, email us the list's code.
